Chester commercial law firm expands to Liverpool
Chester commercial law firm DTM Legal is opening an office in Liverpool with expectations of creating up to 20 new jobs.
The firm has signed a six-year deal with property firm Bruntwood for a new office at The Plaza in St Paul’s Square. This adds to the exisiting Chester headquarters where 40 people are employed.
Partner Julie Mogan said “Since launching in 2008, DTM Legal has seen unprecedented growth. Our plans for investing into a Liverpool office is the natural progression for us.
“Being in the bustling commercial district of Liverpool will enable us to service the rest of the city region and The Plaza is ideal, as many of our professional partners are now our neighbours.”
Areas of law covered by DTM Legal include employment, corporate, commercial property, intellectual property, business recovery, litigation and sales and mergers.
Colin Forshaw, head of sales and development for The Plaza owner Bruntwood, said: “DTM Legal’s mission to be business partners rather than just lawyers directly fits with Bruntwood where we aim to be property partners rather than just a landlord.”
