Cobra Beer founder and Lord Wolfson to speak in Sheffield
Retail giant, Lord Wolfson, and the founder of Cobra Beer, Lord Bilimoria are set to address Sheffield businesses this month at the Sheffield Chamber’s annual President’s dinner.
The dinner is to celebrate Jon Stewart’s year as President of the Chamber. Elevation Recruitment, Sheffield College and British Land are the key sponsors for the event.
British Land, the co-owners of Meadowhall Shopping Centre are sponsoring the dinner and further support comes from The Sheffield College and Elevation Recruitment.
The dinner will celebrate Sheffield’s manufacturing sector built on a rich heritage and optimistic future, while also looking at the city’s economic prospects through the challenges faced in retail.
Tickets are £60 plus VAT per person for Chamber members and £70 plus VAT per person for non-members.
Some of the proceeds from the evening will go to the Chamber’s current charity of the Year, Sheffield Young Carers which provides support to 8-21 year olds who are caring for someone at home.
