Success for Sheffield social media specialist
Yorkshire marketing agency diva creative has been nominated for another prestigious national award.
Sheffield-based behaviour change specialist diva is shortlisted in the Best Large Agency category of the UK Social Media Communications Awards 2013.
The company, which has extensive experience of using social media as part of public health and sustainable travel projects, has already received eight nominations in national awards this year, winning three.
Its ‘HIV Hop’ social media campaign is likely to have impressed the judging panel, with a low-budget video generating more than 15,000 hits on YouTube in just two weeks, attracting the attention of influential Twitter accounts MTV, Durex, and Dr Christian Jessen (from Channel 4’s ‘Embarrassing Bodies’).
Amanda Pearce, director at diva, said: “This award nomination is the result of some very impressive and effective social media campaigns.
“Thanks to our award wins and ongoing positive client feedback, diva is now recognised as the UK leader in marketing communications, graphic design, and web development for clients in the public sector. Being shortlisted for Best Large Agency at such a big national event is evidence of our expertise in using social media.
“We are winning so many awards this year that soon we will have to seriously think about where we have room for them in the office!”
diva is up against two other agencies for the prize, with the winner to be announced in a ceremony at the Emirates Stadium in London on 24 October.
