In an increasingly complex world, how do I ensure my company’s IT is secure?

Kaspersky Lab has announced it will discuss strategies for securing complex infrastructures at the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit, which will be held from 18th to 19th September 2013 at the Lancaster London Hotel in London. The company’s expert presentation on the topic of ‘Mobile, Traditional, Virtual: Strategies for Securing Complex Infrastructures’ will take place from 10:30 to 11:00 am on 19th September, in room Westbourne 3.

In today’s state-of-the-art, high-performance world, infrastructures are lifelines. Their increasing complexity, however, means that companies are constantly facing new challenges. Kaspersky Lab’s industry expert, Dave Messet, tackles this topic in his presentation, which will focus on the following points:

• The risks involved with the advance of mobile devices
• Integration with traditional devices and applications
• The consequences of the increasing usage of virtual technologies by IT employees, bearing in mind their increasing complexity

The aim of the session is to use current examples to illustrate strategies for overcoming these challenges.

This year’s summit focuses on five areas: Mobile Applications & Security, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Cloud Computing and Security, Governance Risk & Compliance, and Data Loss Prevention. More than 50 workshops and presentations give participants the opportunity to discover solutions, network, and ask questions. CIOs can use the event to exchange ideas and discuss problems with experts and market leaders.
