Husband and wife team, Neil and Andrea Cummings, have completed a barn conversion development in Durham with funding.
The pair have been developing the site at Farewell Hall Farm just outside of Durham which features five individually designed luxury family homes have taken just over two years and are proving very popular.
Neil Cummings said: “Construction has been a tough sector for some time, but Barclays were able to provide a property development loan to assist with the funding of the conversion. It’s been great to see the site taking shape and we’ve had positive feedback about the quality of the layout and the bespoke nature of the units which make each home truly unique.”
Carl Thwaites, senior business manager for Barclays Real Estate commented: “This is a great example of a well managed residential development, tightly controlled through the tough economic climate.
“The funding we provided has helped Neil and Andrea to remain true to their ethos of quality fittings throughout the development and has made their development highly coveted - helping them to differentiate their properties in a competitive market.”
