Learn how to pitch to MoD
A workshop to help businesses in Middlesbrough understand how to sell to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has been organised.
The MoD is visiting the North East to engage with small and medium sized businesses, with only two events held in this region.
Middlesbrough Council has announced it will be hosting one of the events at the MTLC, Cargo Fleet Lane on Tuesday (October 8), from 8.30am-11.30am.
The Council’s Economic Development Team is supporting Northern Defence Industries (NDI) in efforts to assist those who could benefit.
Philip Margerison, Defence Supplier Service Manager for the MoD, will highlight the many procurement opportunities and advise businesses on how to become part of the supply chain.
The MoD spends approximately £14 billion a year procuring a wide variety of products and services including in field and utilities, medical supplies, stationery, clothing, facilities management etc.
Indeed, there are very few products that the MOD may not have a requirement for, either directly or indirectly, at some stage.
