Liverpool offering £6m demolition contract
Liverpool City Council is looking for experienced demolition contractors for work worth around £6m, at locations across Merseyside.
The contracting process would involve initial evaluation and then more detailed information and pricing agreements.
The same agreement could also involve work for Cheshire West & Chester, Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, Halton and St Helens councils, and Merseytravel, when existing arrangements expire. The contractors may also be offered work by the Archdiocese of Liverpool.
The scope of the contract would also include provision for emergency demolition work as and when required.
Up to 20 contractors will be invited to tender or participate in the contract process, which is being managed via procurement portal, The Chest.
