Cheshire marketing agency powers up with three new senior staff
Cheshire-based marketing agency, The Foundry, has recruited three senior staff as it beefs up its digital offer and launched “virtual offices” across Scotland and The Midlands.
The agency has appointed Barrie Moran as digital strategy director and John Heffernan as digital marketing sales director, with Julie Neilson taking charge of research and planning.
Barrie Moran was previously head of operations at Dundee agency MediaCo, while John Heffernan has over 15 years’ experience within digital marketing.
Julie Neilson joins the firm from her own consultancy, Lateral Work, having previously worked as a senior account director at McCann Erickson.
The agency’s MD Kevin Murphy said: “As Digital Marketing takes an increasing share of brand budgets all over the world, The Foundry has made a substantial investment in the future.
“This investment is part of an aggressive growth strategy that began with the launch of Foundry Healthcare – our specialist healthcare marketing arm – and now marks a step-change in our digital commitment and resource.
“Julie, Barrie and John give us world-class skills and strength – we’ll therefore be able to make an even greater difference to our clients’ ability to sell today and build their brands for tomorrow.”
The ageny’s clients include STA International, Stobart Barristers and PGL.
