Seasalt, Lazy Jacks, Weird Fish and Old Guys Rule head to the coast

Residents in Whitley Bay and the surrounding areas of Tynemouth, Blyth and Cullercoats are enjoying being able to buy Seasalt Cornwall, Lazy Jacks, Weird Fish and Old Guys Rule at Lazy Lizard on Park View in Whitley Bay.

The store opened on 20th July this year and being the only stockist along the Coast and has proved a massive hit with local residents who in the past have had to travel to Newcastle, York or Cornwall to get their favourite brands!

Owner Shane Walker comments “Seasalt Cornwall are renowned for their ethical production standards whilst the fun motifs on the Old Guys Rule Tee’s are a big hit, we have had customers of all ages, from children to a wonderful lady who told me she was 91, it just goes to show how well known these brands are, and that they have a loyal following”.

To ensure customers can stock up for Christmas, Lazy Lizard will run a late-night on a Thursday from 28th November and to celebrate its first Christmas trading as a new business will be serving a glass of Champagne and warm mince pies for shoppers coming in to the store that weekend.

Walker continues “ We are grateful for the over whelming level of support residents have shown for the store since opening and we are very much looking forward to celebrating Christmas with them. Whitley Bay, particularly Park View, has a great range of independent traders and is a great place to start a new business, we do still need to build up a strong clientele and the economy is proving challenging but the brands we stock are renowned and hopefully will ensure a long and successful venture in Whitley Bay“.

Lazy Lizard from time to time bring forward limited supplies of stocks from other niche suppliers such as Soul & Glory, Strawberry Bay and O’Neill. Lazy Lizard is at 133 Park View, Whitley Bay.
