High fives for Quinn on the deals front
The Quinn Partnership advised on five deals which completed in October amid a surge in activity by private equity firms.
The management due diligence specialist advised private equity outfit Inflexion on three transactions – its £73m buyout of Cheadle-based online travel agent On the Beach, its backing for the management buyout of global software business CMO Compliance, and the secondary buyout of CableCom Networking, which has its headquarters in Kenn, Somerset.
Quinn also advised Manchester-based Palatine Private Equity on its secondary buyout of social housing contractor Forrest, which has its HQ in Bolton.
The Quinn-tet of deals for the Altrincham-based firm was completed when north east investment company Broadband Satellite Services acquired satellite services provider AND Group, of North Shields. Quinn advised FW Capital, which provided financial backing for the deal.
Co-founders Paul Quinn and Mike Stiles led the Quinn advisory teams during one of the firm’s busiest months for completed transactions in the past three years.
Mr Quinn said: “It’s encouraging to see the trend in new investments emerge and, while we are always mindful of the need to offer cautious optimism, it’s a reflection of the quality of our clients to win mandates and come to us in recognition of our experience and expertise.”
