Stopford receives £1 million boost to expand internationally
Stopford Projects Ltd, a process technology, energy and environment consultancy, has secured £1 million to expand overseas.
Money from The North West Fund for Energy & Environmental, managed by 350 Investment Partners, will be used to develop the business’ overseas strategy.
Stopford managing director Prith Rajendran said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce the £1million investment by The North West Fund, which will be used to support our cutting-edge development R&D activities across the process, energy and environmental sectors in the UK and overseas.
“The funding will also allow us to expand our business internationally and further develop our export consultancy services in the Middle East and China.”
Michael Bakewell, investment director at 350 IP, added: “This is a fantastic new investment for us and we are excited to be joining Stopford at such a pivotal time in the growth of the business. As a multidisciplinary consultancy, it is leading the sector in terms of environmental innovation and excellence.
