Bruntwood toasts suite success at Cotton Exchange
Bruntwood has reported a strong response from small businesses to its new range of suites at Liverpool’s Cotton Exchange.
The eight small suites on the building’s first floor vary in size from 130 sq ft to 303 sq ft and four have already been placed under offer in just over two weeks.
The family-owned property firm expects the remaining suites to be secured quickly and says the level of interest from young and start-up businesses may prompt it to create additional small suites elsewhere in the Bixteth Street development.
Cotton Exchange has undergone a multimillion pound refurbishment in recent years and it is also now a core point of presence on the Metronet (UK) high-speed internet network.
Colin Sinclair, director of property marketing at Bruntwood, said: “Cotton Exchange is already home to dozens of ambitious, entrepreneurial businesses and we want to ensure it continues to offer flexible growth space for businesses of all sizes.
“Since we released the first phase of eight small suites to the market, half have been snapped up and we expect the remainder to follow suit in early course. If that proves to be the case, we will consider introducing further suites within the building tailored specifically to the needs of smaller enterprises.”
