New development coordinators join Lovell team in North West
Affordable housing developer and regeneration specialist Lovell – which has its regional office in Altrincham - has appointed two new development coordinators to its North West team.
Matt Jones has joined the company from VINCI Construction, where he was a design coordinator. Mike Mercer previously worked for Keepmoat Homes as development coordinator.
Both Matt and Mike will be responsible for managing the design and construction of construction schemes by Lovell across the region and will play a key role in helping the business continue to win new work.
Key schemes currently include the £22 million redevelopment of the Queens Park estate in Blackpool; the £50 million ongoing regeneration of the Raffles estate in Carlisle and an £8 million housing complex for older residents for Riverside in Belle Vale, Liverpool.
Lovell regional director Nigel Yates says: “Matt and Mike are both highly experienced in managing high-value, complex construction schemes, appointing and managing design consultants and successfully tendering for new work.
“They will play an important part in our continuing expansion in the region and ensure that we make the most of the opportunities offered as the construction market begins to recover.”
