North East manufacturing recruiters partner with labour market consultancy
Newcastle-based manufacturing employment experts First Class Technical Recruitment have partnered with Denis Hall Associates.
The deal is intended to provide clients with a more comprehensive service. Denis Hall Associates will provide competence-based job descriptions together with a map of local demographic trends, workforce age profiling and the development of succession plans.
James Gill, director of First Class Technical Recruitment, said: “There is real synergy between our two businesses, which will add value to the services we offer.
“Employers, particularly those in industry with specific skills and competency requirements, are increasingly looking to address their long-term workforce requirements and this new partnership will enable them to have a greater understanding of the labour market, the skills of the people they already have in their workforce and where the people are to address their skills challenges.”
Denis Hall said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for us to work together to help North East companies get ahead of the game.
“Knowledge of the labour market alongside intelligence of the available skills will enable businesses to put in place a more comprehensive workforce strategy, which will help maintain and grow their position in competitive industrial sectors.”
Denis Hall Associates, which is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, provides workforce development research and strategy, labour market analysis and learning strategy development. Its associates have worked for both private and public sector organisations across the UK, Belgium and France.
First Class Technical Recruitment, with offices in Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Aberdeen, supports the recruitment of skilled technical and engineering personnel for industries including the chemical, oil & gas, renewables and utility sectors.
