York’s LSL Property Services announces board appointments
LSL Property Services plc announced this morning the appointment of Bill Shannon as a non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee with the resignation of Mark Pain.
LSL is the parent company of E.Surv Chartered Surveyors, Your Move and Reeds Rains, and forms the second-largest estate agent chain in the United Kingdom.
Bill Shannon joins LSL with significant PLC board experience in strategy, operations, finance and governance in the consumer, financial services, residential and commercial property sectors.
He is currently non-executive chairman of St. Modwen Properties plc and non-executive director of Johnson Service Group plc.
He was previously at Whitbread Group plc between 1994 and 2004, as divisional managing director; and has served as non-executive chairman of Aegon UK plc and non-executive director of Rank Group plc, Barratt Developments plc, and Matalan plc.
Roger Matthews, chairman of LSL, commented: “The Board has benefited from Mark Pain’s experience and contribution since 2009 and we wish him all the best for the future.
