Indigo Telecom Celebrates Major Milestones for NOC
Telecom services company reaches 10 year anniversary of its network operations centre with 75,000 calls raised
Telecom specialist services company Indigo Telecom Group, is celebrating the 10 year anniversary of its UK based Network Operations Centre (NOC) which provides support for leading network operators, enterprises, equipment vendors and service providers
Over the last 10 years, Indigo’s NOC has dealt with 75,000 raised ‘work tickets’ dealing with calls for assistance with first line maintenance, incident and fault reporting and technical support and advice spanning networks in over 20 countries.
Commenting on the milestone, Stephen Thompson, CEO at Indigo Telecom Group said: “The capabilities of our NOC have significantly developed over the last 10 years and we now support a team of over 350 multi-skilled engineers in a growing number of countries. The fact that we support tier one network providers is testament to the quality and scope of service that we offer our customers. We have heavily invested in the monitoring, diagnostic and resourcing capabilities of the NOC and this has helped us win new customers and develop the levels of business from our existing customer base.”
Indigo’s European NOC is based in Caldicot, Wales and offers 24/7 services including: 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support; co-ordination of field service engineers; repairs, logistics and spares management and network monitoring.
As one of a small number of companies accredited to ISO27001 Information Security Management, Indigo offers structured disaster recovery and business continuity services, while the configuration management services include, frequent configuration back-ups, moves, adds and changes (MACs).
