It has come to light that current Leeds United owners GFH have potentially lost Leeds United between £12 million and £15 million, despite only owning the club for 14 months.

The Telegraph have said that Brian McDermott was sacked for complaining about interference from Cellino and his preference for Gianluca Festa as manager.

Sponsors Enterprise and Flamingo Land could also be set to withdraw their support following the news.

Leeds managing director David Haigh has also quit after the dramatic events, which saw supporters protest at Elland Road.

According to talksport.com, It is thought Gianluca Festa, the man Cellino wants as the club’s new manager, and Neil Redfearn will take charge of Leeds against Huddersfield.

UPDATE: Brian McDermott will remain as first team manager according to the BBC.

**A statement on the LUFC website said: “**The club would like to make it clear that Brian McDermott remains our first team manager.

“He has not been dismissed from his post as has been suggested and we look forward to him continuing in his role with us in taking Leeds United forwards.“
