Stadium Group look for technology businesses to acquire
Hartlepool based electronics firm Stadium Group say they are looking to acquire niche technology businesses that fit their current set-up.
Last week the company’s CEO told Bdaily that restructuring had put the Stadium Group on a strong footing to grow.
Now, an updated note to investors emphasises the role of further acquisitions in creating growth for the firm.
Stadium’s acquisition of Hampshire’s IGT, the manufacturer of Human Machine Interface technology, is expected to contribute £4.6 million sales and £0.8 million EBIT in the 2013 financial year.
The drive comes as Stadium reposition themselves away from the Electronic Manufacturing Services market, which accounted for 85% of revenues in 2012, but has since been challenging trading for the group.
