Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber confirm a new director to their Board

Lisa Pogson is Resources Director at Airmaster Airconditioning Ltd. based at Swallownest, Rotherham and her nomination was accepted unanimously at a recent Chamber Council meeting.

Lisa also sits on the Retail Sector Forum for the LEP and is a pro-active member of the Chamber’s Women in Business group.

Commenting after the appointment Lisa said; “I hope that my passion and commitment that I have focussed on our own business can be reflected in my new role with the Chamber.

“Here is a real opportunity for me to help shape and influence the local economy and see it grow and prosper. The role of the Chamber is crucial and how we all respond to the opportunities in the months ahead is critical to the regeneration of the region’s economy”.

Responding to the news Chamber Chief Executive Andrew Denniff replied; “I am delighted with Lisa’s appointment and I am sure I speak on behalf of the Board that we are all looking to working with her over the next few years, during what will be a key period for many businesses within our region”.
