Jones Melling kicks off 2014 expansion with appointment
North West-based chartered surveyors, Jones Melling, is gearing up for a bumper year as it expands its team, following last year’s move to one of Warrington’s premier business hubs.
Zoë Johns, formerly of Chester-based Bonham Auctioneers, brings eight years’ office and administration experience. She will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Jones Melling Chadwick House head office, as well as playing a supporting role for regional locations in Chester, Preston and London.
Speaking about the appointment, Ken Jones, joint founder and managing director of Jones Melling, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be welcoming Zoë to the team. She’s joined at an ideal time to assist and support the company as we embark on another year of growth.”
Just five years since its launch, Jones Melling has firmly established itself as one of the North West’s leading chartered surveyors practices. Its client roster features some of the UK’s largest banking and retail companies, such as Allied Irish Bank and Debenhams, as well as a host of leading architects, care operators and legal practices.
Zoë’s appointment follows a strong period of growth for the company and its recent transition to larger premises at Chadwick House, Warrington. The new office space has increased Jones Melling’s floor space by 26 per cent – serving to further the company’s ambitious growth plans over the coming year.
Ken added: “The new office is a six-storey, multi-occupied building, with more space for our expanding team and a more prestigious address in which to host our clients. It’s great to have someone dedicated to ensuring that the space is well organised and suitable to house Jones Melling, as the company continues to flourish.”
Chadwick House is located at Birchwood Park, which is home to over 150 blue-chip companies and SMEs, welcomed Jones Melling to its new premises in 2013.
