Parent of Newton Aycliffe adhesives manufacturer sold to German firm
The parent company of Newton Aycliffe adhesives manufacturer Dynea has been sold to a German chemicals firm.
Finnish firm Dynea have sold their UK subsidiary, PRC (UK) Limited, to Germany’s Mellifera Zehnte Beteillgungsgesellschaft mbH.
Law firm Bond Dickinson advised on the deal and said the disposal was in line with Dynea’s strategic goal to return value to its shareholders.
It is understood the Dynea’s North East plant will continue to manufacture products for various markets.
The deal followed the sale of Dynea’s Irish operations and Mold activities, which the Bond Dickinson Corporate team also advised on.
