PROCAM Television expands with Langtree following growth
The UK’s largest broadcast equipment hire company, PROCAM, has expanded its space at the City Works Business Park in Openshaw, Manchester, owned by Langtree,
The specialist equipment firm, which has been at the business park since 2005, has renewed its lease and taken an additional 3,719 sq ft unit on a 10-year contract.
The move follows the company’s significant expansion which saw PROCAM acquire competitor company Hammerhead TV in September of last year. It has taken over offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and allowed the expansion in Manchester.
Jonathan Bolton, head of operations at PROCAM in Manchester, said: “The company as a whole is growing as it takes an ever-increasing chunk of the market share, down to our quality of service, equipment and expertise of our staff.
“We are also pro-actively looking at avenues which may help us expand our offering further. As we now have offices in Scotland and London, the Manchester units serve as an ideal central base allowing us to have national coverage and serve our customers efficiently.”
Procam is a preferred supplier to BSkyB and an approved supplier for BBC and ITV, with the largest stock of HD cameras in the UK.
Katie Johnson, property manager at Langtree, said: “It’s always pleasing to see our tenants grow their companies and we’re thrilled PROCAM has chosen to expand at one of our most popular business parks.”
Langtree operates a diverse portfolio of directly owned and joint venture property totaling more than 4 million sq ft comprising office parks, industrial estates and trade parks across the north and midlands of England.
