Yorkshire Roadshows showcase Finance Yorkshire opportunities
A series of roadshows across Yorkshire and Humber will showcase how SMEs can secure investment to develop and grow their businesses.
Financial intermediaries are invited to the roadshows to learn more about the impact of Finance Yorkshire’s investment activity and the types of funding available to SMEs.
Finance Yorkshire, which has invested more than £65 million in companies across the region, is staging the four events in April with the second being held on Thursday, 3 April in Leeds at the Hilton Leeds City.
Seedcorn, Business loans and Equity Linked investments, ranging from £15,000 to £2 million, are available from Finance Yorkshire to help SMEs meet their funding requirements for development and growth.
Companies which have received investment from Finance Yorkshire will also feature at the events to demonstrate how they have benefitted from the funding. They include cloud services provide Vapour Media, Brighouse; Rosehill Polymers Group; Sowerby Bridge, and Elland-based Control House.
Alex McWhirter, Chief Executive of Finance Yorkshire, said: “The roadshows have become an engaging annual event with financial intermediaries across the region to assess and discuss investment opportunities in a wide range of businesses.
“This year, they will also provide details of how each of the Local Enterprise Partnerships is working collaboratively with us to encourage business innovation and growth.”
The roadshows will run from 8am to 10.15am on: Tuesday 1 April at Hilton York, Thursday 3 April – Hilton Leeds City, Tuesday 8 April – Village Hotel, Hull, Thursday 10 April – Town Hall, Sheffield.
