G4S, Accenture and IBM expand in North Tyneside
Three major employers in North Tyneside have expanded their premises on Cobalt Business Park.
Security services firm G4S has taken an additional 10,000 sq ft of space within Cobalt 8, while outsourcing and technology services firm Accenture has also taken an additional 10,000 sq ft within Cobalt 15a.
Computer giant IBM has expanded with 5,000 sq ft of space within the Cobalt Central building.
The deals were organised by property firm Highbridge.
Director Adrian Hill said: “There can be no better endorsement of a scheme’s quality than major corporate occupiers taking a second building or taking additional floors within their existing building.
“Highbridge is very proud of the fact that at Cobalt 67% of the occupied floorspace comprises deals of this type where P&G, HP, EE, North Tyneside Council and, most recently, Accenture and G4S have all significantly increased the scale of their operations at Cobalt by acquiring additional floorspace.”
