Marketers Communisis' £2.25 million deals for two creative agencies
Marketing communications firm Communisis, which operates a Newcastle office, has acquired London-based video production firm Jacaranda Productions Limited and digital agency, Public Creative Limited.
The deals are worth a combined £2.25 million and are designed to boost Communisis’ service offering.
In the year to the end of February 2013, Jacaranda reported EBITDA of £0.39 million on turnover of £1.6 million, while Public Creative reported adjusted EBITDA of £0.05 million on turnover of £0.6 million, for the year to the end of April 2013.
Andy Blundell, Communisis chief executive, said: “Jacaranda and Public Creative bring important new skills to Communisis, in line with our strategy, as the Group continues to build its integrated service proposition.
“There is growing demand from clients for engaging content, especially for video and film across all digital channels, and these Acquisitions complement and enhance our existing capabilities
“We are delighted that these talented and committed teams have decided to join Communisis and look forward to working with them to offer our clients a broader range of creative services.”
