IT providers SCC Group grow revenues
IT and technology providers SCC Group, who operate a Team Valley base, say revenue for the year to March increased 9.5% to £1.74 billion.
The firm, part of the privately owned Rigby Group, also grew EBITDA by 93% to £32 million - driven by a large number of key contract wins across the group’s UK datacentre and cloud business.
In the UK, SCC’s revenues grew 13% to £751 million - 27% higher than the previous year.
In the firm’s Managed Services business a number of key contract wins or renewals included deals with Mitie, Nissan and the National Trust.
James Rigby, SCC’s CEO said “I am delighted by this year’s results. Following the sale of SDG in late 2012, these results show our renewed focus on SCC following detailed strategic review and put us firmly on the road to our interim financial goal of £50m EBITDA.
“The services wins secured represent our best achievements and we are grateful for customers entrusting in our vision and approach to the market. I am particularity pleased with our outstanding growth in Cloud services.
“Looking to the next fiscal year and on the back of our best ever year of services wins, SCC is positioned strongly to continue its evolution through on-going organic investment and acquisitive growth.”
SCC Group also operate across France, Spain, Northern Ireland, Romania and Netherlands. In February the firm acquired M2 managed print services - a business that is expected to grow to £50 million turnover.
