Tangerine clinches pair of International Certificates of Excellence
Manchester agency Tangerine PR has collected two Certificates of Excellence at The EMEA SABRE Awards, which recognises ‘best practice’ PR on an international scale.
The awards attract entries from some of the largest and most established PR consultancies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and were announced at yesterday’s conference and dinner.
The Certificates of Excellence reward Tangerine’s Juice Academy (Innovator of the Year) and its ‘Freshly Squeezed’ programme (Employee Programme of the Year) which looks at every aspect of Tangerine’s training and development of its 58-strong team.
Sandy Lindsay, Tangerine’s Group MD, commented: “We took the decision earlier this year, based on a client feedback research project, that the focus for our awards activity should be national and international and that they should be not only campaign focussed but also show us running a strong and sustainable business.
“Our Juice Academy social media apprenticeship has received amazing support since its launch a year ago and has already created nearly 40 jobs for bright, young people.
“And we’ve invested significantly in our own team to ensure they continue to be the best they can be and genuinely enjoy their careers. So to be recognised internationally in these two areas is a significant achievement we can all be proud of.”
