Jobs created at Scott Logic thanks to continued growth

Newcastle-headquartered software consultancy Scott Logic has created a number of jobs thanks to the ongoing success of its UK, Europe and US business.

The firm is recruiting across its Newcastle, Bristol and Edinburgh sites, including roles in development, project management and test engineering.

Scott Logic’s Newcastle team is looking for three new marketing staff to promote the main brand and its ShinobiControl mobile technology product - a suite of data components and UI controls for iOS and Android.

Growth in major projects for clients in the financial, healthcare and energy trading sectors means Scott Logic is now looking for people with HTML5 and mobile technologies skills.

David Pinches, head of Products and Marketing at Scott Logic, said: “A positive blend of incremental business from existing clients alongside new customer acquisition has accelerated our recruitment plans.

“Alongside our growth in skilled C# and Java software developers, we are also growing the commercial side of the business at our Newcastle HQ through an expanding marketing team to build our brands further and support new sales initiatives.”

12 graduates and six interns will also be joing the 120-strong workforce this year, alongside the experienced staff recruitments.
