Revenues jump at Ted Baker

Revenues at British fashion brand Ted Baker have increased 17.9% in the last five months, compared with the same period last year.

The Glaswegian firm reported sales were 15.8% above the same period last year as performance remained strong across established markets.

The firm pursured expansion in the US with a new Philadelphia store and a Californian outlet, along with concessions elsewhere in Spain, France, Netherlands, Paris and Tokyo.

Ted Baker’s e-commerce business increased sales by 48.1%.

Ray Kelvin CBE, the firm’s founder and chief executive said: “The Ted Baker brand has continued to perform very well and we have delivered further progress across our global markets and distribution channels.

“We are pleased with the performance of our Spring/Summer collections both in the UK and internationally, which is testament to our skilled and passionate team.

“Commitment to quality, design and attention to detail underpins everything we do and we remain focussed on our strategy to further develop Ted Baker as a global lifestyle brand.”
