Flashback fashion: Sefton Park Palm House to host second vintage fair
Sefton Park Palm House will see the return of the popular Pillbox Vintage Fair this Sunday (June 22).
Between 12pm-6pm, the Victorian glasshouse will offer visitors a trip down memory lane by showcasing a varied array of exciting antique stalls.
In true retro style, the event will welcome an eclectic mix of local sellers – offering vintage and re-customised fashion, jewellery, accessories, homeware and collectables.
Director of the Palm House Moira Leonard said: “We are delighted to welcome back the much adored Pillbox Vintage Fair for the second year running. Last year was such a great hit amongst the public, and we are therefore certain that the quirky event will go down a treat this year too.”
In addition to the fashion and trinket stalls, the event will see the arrival of a many talented bakers who will be serving an array of traditional tastes and refreshments. To add to the hipster vibe, varied entertainment will also take place throughout the day.
Moira added: “From one-off originals to vintage inspired pieces, guests will be surrounded by miscellaneous marvels that could not be found of the high street.
“Also, as the stalls are predominantly manned by vintage traders who sell their pieces via personal websites and social networks, as opposed the retail outlets – the wonderful stock is sold at very reasonable prices, which is an added bonus. This unique shopping experience is not to be missed.”
Pillbox Vintage Fair will take place on Sunday, June 22 between 12pm-6pm. Admission is free.
