Cheshire beverage company celebrates BSDA Council success
Elton-based bottling specialist Encirc Beverages is celebrating after marketing manager, Fiacre O’Donnell, was selected to join the British Soft Drinks Association’s (BSDA) executive council.
The BSDA, which represents the collective interests of producers and manufacturers of soft drinks, elects a council every two years and invited Fiacre to join due to his extensive experience in both glass manufacturing and contract bottling.
As part of his role, Mr O’Donnell will support the BSDA’s activities, while working with other council members to help shape policy direction and provide financial leadership.
Joining the council will reinforce Encirc’s commitment to the soft drinks industry, as well as advise the association’s members on best practice, legislation and technical standards.
Mr O’Donell said: “I’m thrilled to have been asked to join the council as it gives me the ideal opportunity to become more involved in shaping the future of the soft drinks industry.
“We’ve been bottling soft drinks at our site in Elton for a number of years, and we know how quickly the market shifts. I look forward to working with the BSDA members to support businesses in the soft drinks industry, helping them adapt to changing customer needs and explore more cost-effective bottling and logistics solutions.”
