WhitesFX appoints new director of foreign exchange
Mike Penn (52) has been appointed director of foreign exchange trading at Nottingham based financial services company, WhitesFX Ltd, it has been announced today.
Mike, who has 35 years of experience working in the finance industry, 30 years in London and five in Switzerland, was most recently working for UBS in London.
He has developed a wide knowledge of foreign exchange markets over the years working for a number of major banks.
Mike said: “I am delighted to be able to work for a globally expanding company like Whites FX. I will be advising existing clients helping to reducing their risks and costs associated with doing business in foreign exchange markets. I will also be assisting in attracting new clients, offering my extensive help and knowledge of FX,something I believe no other provider in the East Midlands currently offers .
“After working in London for many years, I wanted a new challenge.”
After finding out about the exciting developments at Whites FX, Mike was sold by the forward thinking vision of the company, and after subsequent conversations with the company directors, was asked to undertake a part time post with the company.
Welcoming Mike to the company, director Jack Horton said: “Mike will be an important figure in our company’s continued rapid expansion. His expertise in foreign exchange markets will ensure the quality of service we offer, and that we continue to offer a market leading exchange rate on international payments.”
