Winning goal for future football star
Talented young football player, Lily Crosthwaite has no plans to hang up her boots in the near future after securing a sponsorship deal from HCS Mechanical Services in Northallerton.
The company’s sponsorship will help the sporty 11 year old from Bedale, North Yorkshire, with the cost of training to boost her footballing ambitions.
This will be the third season that Lily has played for the York College-based Belles Girls’ Centre of Excellence. The FA licensed centre, formerly known as the North Yorkshire Girls’ Centre of Excellence, has been running for seven years and currently boasts several England youth players among its ranks.
Dave Crosthwaite, Lily’s father, works as a senior gas engineer at HCS and approached the firm for sponsorship when it became apparent that Lily had the potential to become a top class player.
He says: “I am really grateful to HCS for providing sponsorship for Lily. She has worked so hard to get to where she is now, but playing at this level is expensive and we appreciate the contribution that HCS has made in helping Lily to achieve her dream. “
Richard Clarke, Managing Director of HCS Mechanical Services said, “Lily is a very talented young footballer. She has shown such a commitment to playing the game, that we felt we really had to support her. She has a bright future ahead of her and we are pleased we have been able to help.”
