Ebiquity deliver eighth successive year of growth

Marketing data processing company Ebiquity plc has revealed an eighth successive year of growth with reported revenues of £68.5 million.

The global firm, which operates Newcastle offices at Quorum Business Park, says revenues grew from £64 million in 2013 to £68.5 million in its 2014 year, ended April 30.

Underlying profit grew 10% to £11.5 million during the period as the firm said its “future-focused” business segments delivered strong organic growth.

Ebiquity opened its £1 million Newcastle offices in 2011 and has enjoyed international growth since, now providing to over 1,100 clients across 40 countries.

During the year the company underwent a restructure to focus its business across three key segments: media value measurement, market intelligence and marketing performance optimisation.

Earlier this year the firm acquired Chinese media auditing and benchmarking firm China Media Consulting Group in a deal worth £6.7 million.

Ebiquity CEO Michael Greenlees said: “This has been a year of considerable change and momentum as we continue our journey to becoming a global leader in data analytics.

“We have restructured our business so it is best placed to take advantage of the ever changing marketing industry and we have put the necessary building blocks in place to accelerate our international business, especially in the US and Asia.

“We begin the new year with a high level of visibility on revenue potential which gives us confidence about the year ahead.”
