Leeds property consultancy start-up off to a flying start
Holder & Co, the new Leeds-based niche property consultancy, has completed two new deals during the past month.
The company, which was formed in February by Owen Holder, ex-industrial property partner with Knight Frank, has advised car repair firm Direct Finish Ltd on a new five-year lease of 3,819 sq ft premises at York Business Park.
DTZ acted for the landlords Brightsea S.A.R.L.
Holder & Co has also sourced four acres of land at Haigh Park Road, Stourton, for Manheim Auctions Limited for the storage of vehicles. The landlord is Towngate Estates Limited. Occupation is via a flexible lease agreement.
Owen Holder commented: “I am delighted to have completed these two deals successfully and to report that Holder & Co is thriving in the ever-improving Yorkshire commercial property market.
“The company is especially strong on the occupational side and I believe that my personal approach, combined with my knowledge and experience of the market and competitive fee levels, enables me to provide a first-class service for my clients.
“The company has now completed three significant deals since we formed in February. This represents the start of an exciting journey for the new business and I have personally been overwhelmed by the support for my new venture,” he added.
Nigel Myers, the property director of Manheim, commented: “Holder & Co acted professionally and diligently in the search and acquisition of land.
“Their market knowledge and prompt response was invaluable in us finding additional storage land to address serious capacity issues within our ever-growing vehicle remarketing and auctions business”.
