Sale Sharks add some bite to MBNA touch rugby tournament
MBNA staff got to grips with stars from Premiership Rugby side Sale Sharks in the Chester-based firm’s annual touch rugby tournament.
More than 100 MBNA employees took part in the event along with 11 Sharks players, including Captain Dan Braid, new signing Jon Mills, flanker Dave Seymour and Moldovan prop Vadim Cobilas.
MBNA is the principal partner of Sale Sharks and the annual tournament celebrates the close ties between one of the region’s largest businesses and the North West’s only Premiership rugby side.
Sale Sharks’ Dave Seymour said: “MBNA has given us a lot of support over the years and the tournament is a great way to show our appreciation. It’s always good fun to play against the staff here and to pit yourself against your teammates!”
