Alnwick software firm on major recruitment drive
Advanced manufacturing company, Metrology Software Products Ltd based in Alnwick, Northumberland are recruiting for multiple roles of both Software Engineers and Application Engineers.
MSP are an associate company of global metrology group, Renishaw PLC, who have an international presence in 32 countries around the world.
MSP’s global success means continued expansion and a recruitment drive due to sizeable new contracts from prime aerospace manufacturers in early 2014.
Commercial director, Tony Brown said: “New business in Australia, Canada, mainland UK and the Isle of Wight, means MSP can create a variety of roles to join our existing product development and installation teams, so we are seeking the best talent to work in the North East on these exciting projects.”
MSP’s award-winning products have been deployed in the manufacturing processes of many multi-million pound defence contracts, commercial aircraft production and high end automotive racing teams; customers include BAE Systems, GKN, F1 teams and the Triumph Group.
Peter Hammond, technical director said: “Recently it has been common for engineering graduates to often work in a field separate to that of their degree discipline due to lack of opportunity and employment. MSP want to encourage software and engineering graduates to apply for real engineering projects that are both diverse and challenging.”
MSP believe the future of advanced manufacturing is in the UK and their teams in the North East are literally changing the way the world makes aircraft and performance cars around the world.
