Hartlepool florist sets up shop in Tyneside
A Hartlepool florist has launched her own business after securing new premises in Jesmond
Natalie Mullen, who has been a florist for almost 20 years, has been creating bespoke floral arrangements from various workshops around Teesside.
She has now opened her own store, The Scene Setter, 101 St George’s Terrace in Jesmond.
Chartered surveying firm Bradley Hall helped Natalie in taking up a long-term lease on the prominent retail property.
Natalie said: “This is a great location to base a fledgling retail business. It’s a stone’s throw from Newcastle city centre and is a popular retail and leisure destination with a multitude of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and sporting facilities.
“As a result it will attract a lot people from nearby residential conurbations as well as from other parts of Tyneside.”
