Cheshire affordable homes development opens
Square One Homes has opened the first phase of its affordable housing development at Kingfisher Square in Warrington.
The show home complex was officially opened by the Mayor of Warrington Councillor Ted Finnegan.
Twelve homes have been built on the development; some have one bedroom, while the others offer two.
In keeping with the policy of making the new home affordable, a UNO home at Kingfisher Park is available for £65,950, with mortgage costs from £79 per week and a 5% deposit with the assistance of the Government’s Help To Buy Programme.
The homes at Kingfisher Square also incorporate the latest technology to help keep running costs low. The development is backed by an NHBC 10 year Build Mark warranty.
The Kingfisher Square development is being brought to market by agents Meller Braggins in Stockton Heath. The show home is open every day Monday to Saturday from 12.00 – 4.00 pm.
Mayor of Warrington Cllr Ted Finnegan said: “It was a great pleasure to be asked to officially open this superb development. Kingfisher Square provides good quality and genuinely affordable homes on the fringe of the bustle of Warrington town centre.
“Warrington Borough Council along with Cheshire & Warrington LEP, has worked closely with Square One Homes to help them bring this development forward”.
Mike Dowse, Director of Square One Homes said: “My thanks to the Mayor of Warrington for opening the development. Interest has been very keen and it is great to see that so many homes are already sold! “
