Teesside business moves to new premises thanks to Barclays
PJA Distribution Limited today announced expansion plans as they move to new premises with funding from Barclays.
PJA Distribution, which was established in 2010 from the bedroom of managing director Andrew Simpson, supplies mobile phone accessories worldwide and has outgrown their rented premises.
The firm now employs over 55 staff locally and turnover has increased from £1.5million in 2012 to an anticipated turnover of over £7million this year.
The new premises at Ashbank House, 1 Sadler Forster Way, Teesside Industrial Estate, Stockton on Tees, will provide double the space for the company’s rapid three year expansion plan.
Andrew Simpson, Managing Director, PJA Distribution said: “Mobile phone accessories have become a ‘must have’ fashion accessory and we’ve been able to secure suppliers in China and export our stock worldwide. Purchasing premises for the business not only provides security for the future but it also enables us to increase stock and production so that we can offer more lines. With low interest rates we decided the time was right to make that investment decision.”
