Bellrock delivers a fitting job

Bellrock Business has been working behind the scenes of Work Programme delivery experts, JobFit, to deliver a fantastic ‘Train the Trainers’ package.

Soon afterwards the employability specialist celebrated reaching a huge milestone by helping their 1000th business start-up!

The bespoke ‘Train the Trainers’ package, written and delivered by Bellrock’s director David Jackson included a wealth of valuable lesson plans, an extensive range of toolkits and workshop presentation materials together with support literature which ensured the JobFit enterprise champions were ready to go on and equip their customers with everything needed to create sustained employment through working for themselves.

JobFit selected forty beneficiaries from their supply chain across Wrexham, Aberystwyth and Bristol in order to help them to deliver more diverse support to Work Programme participants.

The Work Programme provides personalised support for claimants who need more help looking for and staying in work and service providers have freedom to decide how best to support Work Programme participants while meeting minimum standards for delivering the service.

This is a major change in the way the government helps people move from welfare to work in this country and Bellrock’s delivery was designed to help the candidates structure their support to be responsive to participants of the Work Programme as individuals, and allow them to choose their own career path. This in turn, emphasises the core initiatives of the programme which are to support and sustain work opportunities for claimants of state welfare.
