Newcastle Business Forum adds a touch of magic
Newcastle based businesses are being told not to miss a trick at the AGM of the Newcastle Business Forum.
The event on Wednesday 8th October will take place at Newcastle City Library and will feature award-winning close up magician, Michael Grist.
Michael’s magic has been featured on the hit web series “Street Magic Mike” which has already received more than 55,000 views and he will soon be featured in a forthcoming movie.
Chairman of the Newcastle Business Forum, Sheila Walker said:
“ We are delighted to have Michael perform for us at the AGM. We have some great Newcastle based businesses all performing their own magic within the city despite the tough economic climate. We want businesses to know that we can offer them excellent support with nothing up our sleeves except a collective voice, experience and a desire to succeed.“
The event will start at 5.30pm with a networking session , refreshments and Michael Grist entertaining. Luke Burton, Head of the Business and Intellectual Property Centre, in the Newcastle Central Library will give a talk about the facility and take questions from members. Members are invited to bring promotional stands and material to display from 5.15pm.
