Sunderland telecoms company to supply superfast broadband to Newcastle SMEs
Sunderland telecommunication company CCS have registered as an official supplier of the Super Connected Voucher scheme, helping SMEs and voluntary organisations to improve their connectivity by getting a grant of up to £3000, covering the cost of installing a super-fast broadband.
With super connection vouchers, businesses located in an eligible area can benefit from superfast broadband allowing them to stay connected with their colleagues and clients with rapid efficiency.
Businesses will reportedly increase profits and strengthen collaboration while improving their customers’ experience by enabling faster and more consistent communication.
Twenty two connected cities around the UK, including Newcastle, take part in the scheme funded by the government’s Urban Broadband Fund (UBF) and administered by the relevant city councils.
Go Digital Newcastle is the City Council’s project aiming to urge local businesses to take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy super speed connections.
CCS are promoting the Go Digital Newcastle connection voucher scheme which keeps businesses in the forefront of connectivity and technology.
The programme has so far given over 80 businesses access to superfast speeds in Newcastle alone.
The scheme remains available and is available until March 2015.
Newcastle City Council deputy cabinet member for skills, business and enterprise, Cllr Michael Johnson, said: “Go Digital Newcastle’s connection vouchers are providing a fantastic boost for local companies, charities and social enterprises and they are available free of charge.
“We want as many people to apply for them as possible, superfast broadband can really change business in the future.”
