Leeds-owned business buys into Canadian manufacturing firm
A business 50% owned by Leeds-based specialised engineering solutions provider CCL has bought the intellectual property and manufacturing rights of Dynacore Equipment Canada.
Spiroll Precast Services is a provider to precast concrete manufacturers and its acquisition of Dynacore opens up markets in North America and Australia.
CCL bought a 50% stake in Derby-based Spiroll late last year. The company has been manufacturing production machinery since 1962.
Dynacore was established in 1983 when it began manufacturing hollowcore slab extrusion systems.
President and general manager of Dynacore, Geoff Chambers, will join Spiroll as business development manager for the Americas.
He has more than 30 years’ precast production management and brings a wealth of experience to the company.
Existing customers of Dynacore will continue to receive supported from Spiroll in the shape of new machinery, servicing and spare parts supply.
This will enable Spiroll to offer a more comprehensive package of precast machinery and deliver the pinnacle in performance, reliability, flexibility and maintenance costs to hollowcore slab producers around the globe.
