Trafford Park recruitment consultancy to invest £250k in training academy
Manchester-based recruitment consultancy Transline Group, has committed to a 3-year, £250,000 investment to launch a training academy.
Transline saw a 52% increase in turnover compared to 2012, as its UK sales climbed to £107.9 million in 2013.
Based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, the academy will offer a range of accredited training courses that will seek to pump fresh talent into the logistics and transport sector.
A range of courses will be offered to internal Transline staff, as well as the site acting as a resource to Transline’s blue-chip, big brand client base.
The current course list includes first aid training, compliance, manual handling, LGV/HGV driving and speed awareness.
Paul Beasley, joint CEO at Transline Group, said: “Our training division has generated well-trained and highly-regarded staff for roles across the logistics sector for more than five years.
“The launch of the Training Academy will formalise our course structure and allow for further development of the division in response to growing demand from businesses to outsource this crucial provision.”
