Entrepreneurs launch 6 new businesses at York Science Park
Entrepreneurs have launched 6 new businesses at York Science Park’s startup space, Springboard.
Springboard’s latest residents include a company working on an new networking site, a specialist Internet Service Provider, a gallery and exhibition design service, a communications training company run by a RADA trained actor/teacher, an events company and a property investment adviser.
Kim Hodgson, business development manager, York Science Park, commented: “The demand for our start-up space continues to grow and it’s great to welcome a new tranche of creative and innovative entrepreneurs to York Science Park.
“There is a vibrancy and energy in Springboard which I am sure all the business will benefit from as they work to grow and develop their new businesses.”
Springboard enables entrepreneurs and businesses to easily access business people, academic departments and world class researchers leading to innovative solutions and business opportunities.
Accommodation is free for the first three months and then is on a sliding scale depending on the size of office taken.
