County Durham recycling company gets gold in Loo of the Year Awards
A recycling company based in County Durham were proud to yesterday receive a letter formally confirming the grade of “Gold” in the 2014 Loo of the Year Awards and being selected for the companies final.
The company who entered their recycling site toilets in for the awards, are thrilled with their Gold grading and will now take part in the finals on December 5th . The competition will see the likes of McDonalds and EE go head to head for the title.
This isn’t the first success for the company who have this year at the National Recycling awards been named finalist in Resource Management Business of the Year, Highly Commended in Innovation of the Year and Winner of Efficiency Initiative of the Year.
The company’s recent wins have allowed the company to create more opportunities, particularly offering opportunities to apprentices.
The award winning site also boasts an industry leading patent pending automated recycling plant for end of life flat panel displays – believed to be the only one of its type in the world.
