Unique Magazines wins Best Retailer
Newcastle based Unique Magazines have won the Retail Business Award at the North Tyneside Business Awards.
Held at the Village Hotel, Silverlink North, these annual awards offer a celebration to all businesses contributing to the local economy in North Tyneside.
With eight categories, the ceremony was attended by 200 leading figures which included guest speaker Fraser Doherty who setup his successful SuperJam Company at the age of 14.
Unique Magazines are the largest independent online newsagents in the UK, who sell over 3000 magazines to homes, businesses, schools and libraries across the world. You can find everything from international best-sellers to small niche publications.
John Porrett, Managing Director said: “First of all I would like to thank the North Tyneside Business Forum and North Tyneside Council for such as wonderful ceremony. This award has been a great honour for our staff and has shown their hard work and commitment during the past year.
“The company has recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary and it has been filled with challenges, achievements, growth and new product introductions. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments so far and really looking forward to see where the next 10 years takes us.”
