Glendale’s finest honoured with Chairman award
National green services provider Glendale has announced the winners of its annual Chairman’s Award for 2014.
The accolade went to both Tommy McAndrew and Mickey Dalgarno. It rewards staff for their hard work and efforts throughout the year.
Kim Iverson, team leader for Glendale’s North Somerset contract, was also commended for her work.
Andy Corcoran, managing director, said: “The Chairman’s Award is a prestigious honour and an acknowledgement of an individual’s outstanding efforts.
“It is the culmination of a year of endeavour and enterprise and represents the ultimate recognition from the Glendale board and our founder and chairman, Tony Hewitt.”
Tommy, service supervisor at Glendale Liverpool, has worked in the cemeteries division for the past 13 years.
He is responsible for a range of emergencies from fallen trees to depot building alarms and features on every emergency call out list in the area.
Mickey, one of the company’s longest serving employees, has worked for Glendale for over 22 years, 12 of which have been spent as lead charge hand on the company’s contract with Aspire Housing.
Next year, Glendale will celebrate its 25th year delivering green services across the UK.
