£18 million football stadium for AFC Fylde
Members of Fylde Council are to meet to decide upon plans for an £18 million football stadium and retail development near Wesham.
The decision will be made at the end of this week and the plans include a 6,000 capacity football stadium for AFC Fylde.
As well as the football stadium the plans also include an Aldi supermarket, restaurant, hotel, pub and petrol station.
AFC Fylde chairman David Haythornthwaite said: “Hopefully by this time next year we could be playing there which will be great” according to the Blackpool Gazette.
